Lakeside Bicycles accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Correct billing address must be included with your order to avoid delays in processing.
Canadian customers can use Visa, MasterCard, or Discover but the general services phone number of the bank that issues the credit card must accompany the order. Type

First time orders from other than U.S. or Canadian accounts must be paid via Electronic Bank Transfer "EBT"; that is the only method of payment that is guaranteed safe and secure for both parties. On receiving your order we will promptly email you our EBT information. Present our information to your bank so they can transfer the funds to our bank. All banks are familiar with this simple process. Your order will be shipped as soon as our bank receives the transfer, usually about 10 business days. After the initial order we can accept a Visa or MasterCard payment to the same customer name at the same shipping address.
Build Policy
On arrival: Full bikes will need only minor assembly: front wheel mounted, pedals screwed in, seatpost reinstalled, stem clamped back down. Complete instructions are included and our mechanics are only a phone call away for any questions: (503) 699-8665. If you wish to bring the bike to a local shop for the minor final assembly or a checkup that service will not be covered by Lakeside Bicycles. Framesets are fully machined and aligned before shipping so they are nearly ready to build up. However, jostling during shipping can create minor changes in frame alignment or even machining. Details such as dropout and hanger alignment or bottom bracket threading should be re-gauged before buildup. Minor machining and alignment are not covered by Lakeside Bicycles as this is considered a normal part of buildup. More serious shipping damage should be immediately reported to Lakeside Bicycles so a claim and resolution with the shipping company can be promptly arranged. If your mechanic is not able to complete a part installation then our mechanics are ready to complete the task, but shipping is not covered in either direction if our mechanics are able to properly finish the task. Any alignment issues must be addressed by your mechanic with actual measured discrepancies; eyeball readings and 'it felt out of wack' are not covered; you may as well include pictures since they will usually be requested.
All special instructions must be included with your actual order. During the ordering process the "Special Instructions" field provides plenty of space for you to enter all special instructions. As we receive hundreds of emails every week, even special instructions that have previously been discussed with us must be reiterated at the time of your order. Lakeside Bicycles cannot be held responsible for special requests unless they are delivered to us in conjunction with the actual order.
When damage in shipment occurs follow the following procedures within 24 hours:
If delivery is by United Parcel Service (UPS), hold the merchandise in the original carton and call your local UPS office and request an inspection. Promptly notify Lakeside Bicycles regarding the inspection.
If delivery is by FedEx, hold the merchandise in the original carton and call your local FedEx office and request an inspection. Promptly notify Lakeside Bicycles regarding the inspection.
If delivery is by U.S. Post Office, notify your local Postmaster who will then come and inspect the package. Then, file a claim with your local post office. Promptly notify Lakeside Bicycles regarding the inspection and claim filed.
We want you to be happy with your Lakeside Bicycles purchase. That is why we offer a full refund or credit, your preference, for all returns within 2 weeks of purchase - except on bicycles and frames as noted below. Lakeside Bicycles store credit is available for returns longer than 2 weeks but less than 4 weeks old.
Though we try our best to keep all of our web info up-to-date and accurate, occasionally mistakes do happen. Therefore, pricing, product availability, and offers are subject to change without notice. This includes mistakes due to typographic, photographic, or technical errors in on-line or print advertising.

In-Store Pickup
Most orders will be ready after 4 pm the same day if received by 11 am (Monday through Friday). Orders placed after 11 am or on the weekend can be ready the same day if you alert us by phone that you have placed an order. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders requesting in-store pickup need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
Backorders
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be back ordered. If this should happen, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order
Returns
If there is a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it in or ship it to our store. Ship returns via UPS, FedEx, or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to restocking fees and labor fees (i.e. custom wheels, etc.) is not refundable/ Returns must have a return authorization (RA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused.
