To a large degree pumps is pumps. We prefer floor pumps that come with a 'smart head' or ones which work exclusively with either Presta or schraeder valves. For frame pumps we look for reliability.
We are fond of the Specialized 'Air Tool' pumps because they are reletivily inexpensive and they all work at least fairly well. We like the Topeak pumps because so many of them come with 'smart heads'. We like the Genuine Innovations 'Super Flate' because it is minescule and clever. We like Portland Design Works because they put so damned much love and thought in every single thing they make. We like Lezyne because everything they make is a work of industrial art. We Love Silca because they last forever and you can always get parts and they are Italian. Take your pick, my work is done.
