This is the evolution of greatness. As the Storm King continues to push boundaries, it was only natural that suspension technology would catch up with the gravel bike scene to continue that push forward. When suspension forks first came out for Mountain bikes, many people scoffed at them. Today, we could not imagine our bikes without them. The same will be true for gravel bikes. The Storm King is designed to go anywhere and the advent of suspension continues that trend.

The “GP” refers to “Gifford Pinchot”, as in the “Gifford Pinchot National Forest”. It is one of the oldest national forests within the United States and encompasses 1,312,000 acres with multiple mountain ranges including Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams. The forest is located in Southwest Washington State and is larger than the state of Delaware. It is here where the Storm King GP was inspired. Rough roads, steep climbs, and backcountry experiences are where the Storm King has always shined, but the new GP version allows you to go deeper and farther than ever before.

Each GP comes with a full suite of options ranging from multiple bottle mounts to varied tire size options. Internal routing options help keep the bike looking clean and ready to be loaded down with bags or gear for those extended journeys. Our custom chainstay yoke gives you two different tire size options depending on what type of riding you want to do. Looking to go race and want a wider gear range? Run a Gravel Yoke for a 2X drivetrain configuration and 700x50mm tire clearance. All day adventure is what you are after? Then choose a 1X drivetrain and tire clearance up to 650×2.4? for the ultimate in max tire size capabilities.

Original Prima:

The BIXXIS Prima incorporates original and unique featurs including it's custom drawn Columbus Spirit tubeset, BIXXIS designed X-Stays,  and Headtube and dropouts CNC machined from solid blocks of aluminum alloy.  Prima is customizable as either a bare frame or a complete bicycle in your choice of colors and components and manufactured in a geometry uniquely designed to optimize your comfort and efficiency on the bike Each Prima comes with your choice of a Chris King InSet 7 or Cane Creek 110 headset, a 29.4mm PMP Titanium Seatpost, and a matching BIXXS EVA Fork.

Prima XL

All the lightness of Prima, with a more contemporary design and high-level performance. Prima XL is an evolution of  BIXXIS' original steel Prima bicycle. A more robust head tube specifically designed to compliment the soft shapes of the EVA fork make for a more majestic bike while sacrificing none of its lightness, speed and responsiveness. The Prima XL is available in five colors.

Prima D11

All the features of Prima, plus one exciting variant: the 1-inch 1/8 Chris King D11 headset with internal caps up to 38 mm. Prima D11 is dedicated to those who want to combine aesthetics and comfort with improved lateral rigidity. Prima D11 comes in elegant single color. Nevertheless, it offers as always a full possibility of customization to satisfy all tastes and needs.

The geometry on this bike is Sage's new “Aggressive Geometry” where they prioritize toe clearance with a longer top tube and a shorter stem. The effect generates a quick handling bike when the corners get tight, but a bike that can also remain stable at high speeds on rough descents due to the longer wheelbase of the bike.

This bike HAS NEVER BEEN RIDDEN! It has been hand carried to a few shows but Sage has never mounted pedals on it and it has not even been rolled to the end of the shop.

The geometry is based on a 56cm Storm King geometry but slightly modified with a taller headtube and a longer top tube. It will fit riders from 5’9 to 6’0. We can adjust the stem length if necessary for your fit.

This is not another gravel bike. The Sage Titanium Storm King is a catalyst to new adventures. It’s a drop-bar beast designed to fuel your exploration, taking you deeper while getting increasingly more remote with every pedal stroke. The Storm King is not only designed for the bike packer who tackles multi-day adventures like the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder, but also for the gravel racer who looks to conquer events like the Unbound or Grinduro. Storm King is a rock-gobbling animal with a geometry to keep the rider more comfortable on technical terrain.

Named after the ribbon of singletrack outside of Bend, Oregon, Storm King is ready to get shreddy on tires sizes up to 700x50mm. Utilizing a curved seat tube to decrease the length of the chainstays while maintaining maximum tire clearance, the Storm King is able to snap to acceleration with minimal effort. The Storm King touts three bottle cages, front and rear fender mounts, and top tube bosses for bolt-on food bags. All that, plus internal cable routing for the mechanical shift lines, rear brake, and dropper post for an ultra-clean look. Lastly, this bike includes a UDH derailleur hanger for ease of replacement should the need ever arise.

All of Sage's demo/ show bikes carry our limited lifetime warranty so you can rest easy at night knowing your frame is covered should something happen to it. Complete bikes are tuned up prior to shipping. This includes new chain, bar tape, and brake pads as necessary. Complete bikes ship out within 7-10 business days after your payment has been confirmed.

Please note: This bike is Sage's 2022 Chris King show bike showcasing the new Midnight color that Chris King launched that year. This bike features their “galaxy” paint scheme and was hand painted in multiple color layers of cerakote. The frame is cerakoted from the head tube to about halfway back on the frame where it transitions to a blue anodize and blasted titanium finish to give the bike its unique look. BIXXIS opened in 2015 inspired by the desire of Doriano De Rosa and his daughter Martina to produce a generation of steel and titanium racing bicycle frames which embodied their taste for true cratsmanship.

Experience and innovation:

BIXXIS is built on Doriano’s 40-years' experience as a frame-builder and student of innovative technological solutions. His and his daughter's passion for cycling is the foundation for the creation of beautiful artisanal bicycles for modern cyclists.

This is why they chose the acronym BIXXIS, which means Italian Bicycles for the twenty-first (XXI) century.  Bixxis’ philosophy grows out of essential values: the taste for well-made things, tradition but combined with their passion for innovation all coupled with sensitivity to the needs of cycling enthusiasts, both professional and amateur.

A Taste of Unicity*:

BIXXIS products are entirely hand-made. Each BIXXIS frame is 100% made in Italy, at their Seregno workshop, just few miles north of Milan. They have chosen to use steel and titanium to make frames last longer, and maintain their value. By employing TIG welding BIXXIS creates extremely light metal frames.

Listening their clients is fundamental: they listen before they speak and they also speak little because doing is better than saying. Doriano and Martina will listen to your requirements and queries with an ulmost attention born out of their deep attachment to every frame they produce. Each Bixxis is unique, as are tastes, passions, expectations from each cyclist. Every geometry is the outcome of an in-depth study with specific drawings built from each clients specific requirements.

Talking about unicity BIXXIS wants to offer an original bicycle from its individual elements. For instance, each BIXXIS integrates a customized dropout and is built from  proprietary Columbus tubes, and includes design features such as X-Stays which give the frame more strength and optimize on-road performances.
